The Employment Education and Outreach (EMPLEO) toll-free number provides assistance in Spanish and English to individuals, regardless of their immigration status. Individuals that have faced wage theft, a worker rights violation, and/or employment discrimination are encouraged to call. Volunteers answer the call, record the complaint, and pass it on to the Department of Labor for action against the employer. All complaints are confidential, and services are provided by the Department of Labor free of cost.
