Adi Dobbins-Fernandez was born on March 6th, 1992 in Michoacan, Mexico. She was brought to the United States at the age of 3 years with her parents and two brothers, living in the west coast states until the age of 12 when her family moved to Nebraska. Adi became a DACA recipient, becoming eligible for a driver’s license and work permit. She has lived in Roca, Lincoln, and currently resides in North Platte, which she calls her home town. She is married, has two children, and is founder and executive director of nonprofit Las Mañanitas. Her team educates, redirects, trains, and advocates for the at risk youth and the growing Hispanic population in North Platte and Lincoln County, NE. She joined the commission in November, 2022.
